Grove man shot dead during argument among friends

[www.inewsguyana.com] – The police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the death of 33 – year – old  Selwyn Bess of Grove Housing Scheme, East Bank Demerara which is believed to have occurred last night (Monday, March 17) at 14 Miles, Issano Landing.

Initial investigations have revealed that an argument developed among a group of men in a shop, during which shots were discharged. Bess, who was in the shop, was later found dead with a suspected gunshot injury to his chest.

The body is at the Bartica Hospital mortuary awaiting a Post Mortem Examination. A man is in police custody assisting with the investigations.
