Government on Tuesday announced that after nearly six months of Ghanaian company Cybele Energy promising to pay the US$17 million singing bonus on the awarded Oil Block S7 and racking up nearly US$4 million in default interest, a warning has been issued to the company to pay up or forfeit its licence. In response, the company has promised to pay 30 per cent by the end of this week.
