He pleaded not guilty to the offence, which alleged that on Friday, February 7 at East La Penitence, Georgetown, in a public place, he discharged a loaded firearm.
Police Prosecutor Seon Blackman told the Court that the accused escaped after committing the offence. As such, the Prosecutor objected to bail.
The young man was remanded and is scheduled to re – appear in Court on April 7, before Chief Magistrate Priya Sewnarine-Beharry.
