Another Albouystown shooting leaves one injured

Crime-scene[www.inewsguyana.com] – The police are investigating another shooting in Albouystown, Georgetown which has left one person nursing a gunshot wound.

According to a police release, at about 18: 45 hrs on Thursday September 17, 2015, Sunil Sooklall, 31 years, of James Street, Albouystown, was at James Street when two men rode up on bicycles and one of them discharged several rounds in his direction.

Sooklall was hit to his right foot and has been hospitalised. Investigations are in progress.

On September 16, iNews had reported that 22 – year old Anton Johnson is hospitalized at a city hospital after he sustained a gunshot wound while standing outside his home on Wednesday, September 16, 2015.

According to a police report, just after midnight, Johnson of Independence Boulevard, Albouystown, was in front of his home when shots were discharged at him by a man in a motor vehicle that drove by.

He was hit to his left foot and has been hospitalised as the investigations continue.
