Returning Officer for Region Ten has declared the results of the General and Regional Elections for that voting district.

Based on the election results, WIN has taken control of the region from APNU, which had traditionally held power there.

For the general elections, APNU received 5,334 while AFC got 210, ALP 85 and FGM 662. The PPP/C received 4,260 while WIN got 10,458.

In the regional elections, APNU got 5370, AFC got 224, ALP got 82, FGM got 818, PPP/C got 4197 and WIN got 10,262.

Meanwhile, the PPP/C has made significant inroads in the region. In the last general elections, it had garnered 3,162 votes while in the regional elections, it received 3,208.
