iNews understands that the passengers in the taxi, along with the driver received minor injuries. According to information received, the taxi was heading to Georgetown from Timehri when it slammed into a White 192 car (PJJ 8384) that was parked in front of a shop, at the side of the road.
The circumstances surrounding the accident are unclear at this time.
