The Police in ‘A’ Division on Sunday, June 05, 2016, about 14:10h. acting on information received, swiftly intercepted and searched a route 42 minibus, on Providence Public Road, East Bank Demerara (EBD).
The Police say during the search, on one of the occupants, a .32 pistol along with eight (8) live .32 rounds was found tucked in his pants waist.
The man was arrested and taken into custody as charges are to be instituted shortly.
