[www.inewsguyana.com] – Investigations are being conducted into a fatal accident that occurred at about 19:45 hrs on Tuesday, May 19 at Lusignan Public Road, East Coast Demerara, and which resulted in the death of Ogle Kirton, 57 years, of Lusignan.
According to a police report, investigations have revealed that Kirton was driving a motor cycle along the roadway, when it is alleged that he turned across the road and in so doing collided with an oncoming mini- bus.
It was noted that Kirton received injuries and was taken to the Georgetown Public Hospital where he died while receiving medical treatment.
The driver of the mini-bus is in police custody assisting with the investigations.
