[www.inewsguyana.com] – Forty – year – old Vernon Rodrigues of North East La Penitence Georgetown was placed before the court for assaulting his wife. Rodrigues pleaded not guilty to the offence which he allegedly committed against his wife Yonette Rodrigues.
The allegations state that the incident occurred on October 6 at their. Police prosecutor told the court that both parties shared the same home and that they do not speak to each other.
The prosecutor said that the accused slammed a door in his wife’s face. The Magistrate granted Rodrigues bail in the sum of $15,000 and he is to reappear in court on October 21. [Royan Abrams]
