[www.inewsguyana.com] – Ogle Airport Inc. (OAI) and Air Services Limited (ASL) have concluded an agreement for ASL to be licenced as a Commercial Fuel Handling Agent at Ogle Airport and to start operating the ASL Fuel Farm at the Airport under terms and conditions no less favourable than Caribbean Aviation Management Services Limited (CAMSL).
Recently, ASL had expressed concerns over an apparent monopoly on the supply of fuel at the airport.
In the past, ASL had argued that it was being prevented from procuring its own fuel at lower rates because OAI, CAMSL along with the domestic airline all had similar top management officials who were taking advantage of the fuel situation.
