Customs Broker accused of threatening to kill woman granted bail

[www.inewsguyana.com] – A customs broker was placed on $25,000 bail by Magistrate Fabyo Azore after he was charged with the offence of threatening language.

Forty – Seven – year old Raymond Busby of Bel Air, Georgetown pleaded not guilty to the charge which he allegedly committed against Radika Khan on October 28.

The court heard that the accused threatened to kill the woman. Attorney – at – Law, Paul Fung – A – Fat represented the accused and while making an application for reasonable bail told the court that the complainant is very abusive to his client.

Police prosecutor Ramsahoye Rambajue objected to bail noting that the accused may execute his threat against the woman. However, the Magistrate granted the accused bail and he is expected to return to court on November 08. [Royan Abrams]
