Two fields of Marijuana destroyed in Mahaica backdam

[www.inewsguyana.com] – Police ranks conducted a drug eradication exercise in Mahaica Backdam, East Coast Demerara on Saturday, July 18 during which two fields of marijuana plants, which were under cultivation, were destroyed.

According to a police report, the fields comprised of about 200 plants ranging in height from 1foot to 10 feet, along with a quantity of dried marijuana. No arrest was made and investigations continue.
