A teenager was remanded to prison by Magistrate Judy Latchman for the offense of robbery underarms.
Seventeen – year – old Kevin Isaacs of Sophia East Coast Demerara pleaded not guilty to the offence. The court was told that August 07 at Sheriff Street Georgetown he attacked and robbed Sherry-Ann Rahaman of several articles totaling $73,000.
Based on the seriousness of the offence, the penalty attached and the fact that a gun was used to commit the crime, the police prosecutor objected to bail. Isaacs will reappear in court on September 10. [Royan Abrams]
