[www.inewsguyana.com] – Firefighters are currently trying to locate a fire within Giftland Officemax on Water Street Georgetown. Presently smoke can be seen emanating from the building and the fire alarm which the building is fitted with continues to ring out.
Employees and the owners are outside looking on helplessly. One employee said the first sight of smoke was seen about ten minutes ago. Another person speculates that it could be a result of over worked air conditioned units.
