The Guyana Police Force said investigations are being conducted into a fatal accident that occurred about 04:30 hrs today (Thursday), on the Goedverwagting Railway Embankment Road, East Coast Demerara which resulted in the death of 38-year-old Laurel Forde.
Police said its investigations so far have revealed that Laurel Forde, who hails from Prince William Street in Plaisance, ECD was driving a motor vehicle allegedly at a fast rate when she lost control of the vehicle and crashed into a concrete fence. She received injuries and was taken to the Georgetown Public Hospital where she was pronounced ‘dead on arrival’.
