[www.inewsguyana.com] – Police say at about 19:45 hours last night (Thursday September 04),38 – year – old Jem Andrews was on the road in front of his residence at St. Stephen Street, Georgetown, when he was attacked by two men, one of whom was armed with a handgun.
During the incident Andrews was shot and injured to his right foot by the men who took away his gold jewellery and escaped on a motor cycle.
He has been admitted to Hospital as the investigations continue.
