Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the death of Bedore Totaram, a 30-year-old labourer of no fixed place of abode who allegedly died by drowning.
The incident occurred on Wednesday 06:00hrs and 07:30hrs at Crabwood Creek Corentyne, Berbice.
The body was fished out of the Side Line Dam canal, Crabwood Creek.
Totaram suffered from epilepsy, his relatives told police.
Investigations are ongoing.
