Impounding of stray animals’ waiver ends

The Public Security Ministry wishes to inform the general public and animal owners that the waiver on the impounding of stray animals has ended.
“The impounding of stray animals will re-commence from (today) August 9, 2017. These impounding exercises will begin in all communities across Guyana,” the Department of Public Information announced.
The Ministry also appealed to both cattle owners and all road users to make every effort to ensure that our roads and communities are safe.
