Handyman shot during armed robbery at electronic store

[www.inewsguyana.com] – A handyman employed at Whizz Electronic Store, Alexander Street, Kitty was shot in his leg on Monday [October 7] during an armed robbery.

According to the police, 35 – year – old Tyrone Williams was shot by an unidentifiable man armed with a handgun, who robbed the proprietor of tethe store, 36 – year – old Shoma Vrusch.

The woman was robbed as she exited her vehicle in front of the store. The gunman made good his escape. Investigations are continuing.
