Four in custody over marijuana discovery at Norton Street

Four persons are now in custody following the discovery of over four kilogrammes of marijuana which was unearthed during separate raids at multiple locations in Norton Street, Georgetown, late this afternoon.

 INews understands that ranks attached to the Police Narcotics Branch were executing two separate operations in the same area when they made the discovery.

A source told INews this afternoon that it is highly likely that charges will be laid against the suspects soon.

Investigations are continuing into the matter.
