[www.inewsguyana.com] – The swollen decomposed body of a 55 – year – old man was discovered in a house in the Charity Extension Housing Scheme at around 17:00 hours Monday afternoon.
Residents in the area could only identify the man as Ganesh or Braff. Reports thus far indicate that the discovery was made by residents after a foul odour began to emanate from the man’s home; severely affecting them.
An alarm was raised and the police summoned to the home. It was only after the police officers broke into the house that the gruesome discovery was made.
Initial reports indicate the man may have died of natural causes since his body bore no marks of violence. Residents said he was a known alcoholic in the area.
