The Guyana Elections Commission (GECOM) has decided to conduct a countrywide recount.
This was communicated by the Commission’s Public Relations Officer (PRO) Yolanda Ward.
Ward said the recount will be conducted in chronological order, from Region One to Ten.
It is currently unclear when the exercise will begin. Ward said all other details will be subsequently provided.
