[www.inewsguyana.com] -At about 20:30h last night Wednesday April 02, Brazilian national Joao De Souza, 57 years, was attacked by a man armed with a piece of wood, during a robbery at 5 Miles, Arakaka, North West District.
According to the Police, he was struck about his body by the perpetrator who escaped.
Joao De Souza was subsequently taken to the Arakaka Health Centre and referred to the GPHC. He succumbed while awaiting transportation at Matthews Ridge Airstrip at about 11:40h, today Thursday April 03. Investigations are in progress.
