The Guyana Motor Racing and Sports Club (GMR&SC) has officially announced ticket details for the highly anticipated GT Challenge de las Américas, as preparations continue for what is expected to be one of the largest motorsport events ever hosted in Guyana.

Fans will have the opportunity to experience the action-packed race weekend through a range of ticket options designed to cater to motorsport enthusiasts, families and visitors seeking a premium race day experience.

General admission tickets, which provide access to spectator viewing areas, are available at the following prices: Saturday, July 11, general admission: GY $4,000 Sunday, July 12, general admission: GY $9,000

For those seeking an elevated experience, the GMR&SC has introduced exclusive VIP and Paddock Club packages for Sunday’s race day: Sunday VIP experience: GY $50,000 Sunday Paddock Club Pass: GY $100,000

The VIP experience offers guests access to a premium hospitality suite featuring lunch, snacks, an open bar with dedicated service, private air-conditioned restroom facilities, dedicated VIP parking and panoramic views of the South Dakota circuit.

The Paddock Pass Experience includes all VIP benefits while giving guests an exclusive behind-the-scenes look at the event. Pass holders will receive pit lane access, opportunities to get closer to the GT cars, exclusive driver photo opportunities and access to the pre-race grid walk and cultural festivities.

Fans can also purchase official GT Challenge de las Américas racing merchandise, including event shirts, for GY $8,000.

Executive Member of the GMR&SC, Elan Rahaman, said the event has grown beyond a traditional racing competition and has become a significant national occasion.

“It’s no longer just a racing event, but this is a national event. It’s a milestone for the country to bring GT3 racing with this caliber of cars to Guyana. It’s a magnificent thing that we’ve accomplished,” Rahaman said.

He noted that excitement surrounding the event continues to build, with significant interest from both local and international audiences. With international teams, drivers and mechanics already confirmed, the event is expected to attract thousands of visitors to Guyana.

“So far with drivers, teams, mechanics, we already have confirmed 300 international people. This does not include their families, their fans, so we’re targeting about 4,000 international visitors for this event,” Rahaman said.

The GT Challenge de las Américas promises to deliver world-class racing, entertainment and an unforgettable experience for fans as Guyana welcomes some of the region’s top motorsport talent and GT3 machinery.
