Police Inspector charged with unlawful transfer of ammunition

Inspector Abasola Flatts, stationed at Regional Police Division 4 ‘A’, has been charged with Unlawful Transfer of Ammunition.

The charge stemmed from an intelligence-led operation conducted on Wednesday May 7, 2026, at the Linden Bus Park, Georgetown.

He appeared before Her Worship Fabio Azore at the Georgetown Magistrate’s Court, where the charge was read to him.

He pleaded not guilty and was granted bail in the sum of $150,000.

The matter was adjourned to June 24, 2026, for disclosure.
