Keon Thomas of 183 Calender Street, Albouystown pleaded not guilty to the charge which alleged that on September 9, 2016 in Lombard Street, Georgetown, he attempted to steal one gold chain valued $67,000 property of Tanisha Daniels.

The prosecution told the court that the item was recovered and was returned to the Virtual Complainant  (VC).

The defendant, who suffers from a speech impediment, was unable to address the court. He was thus remanded to prison and is scheduled to reappear on September 29, 2016 for statements. (Ramona Luthi)
