42-Y-O man found dead at Moblissa

Police are investigating an alleged murder committed on Andries Allicock, 42, of Central Amelia’s Ward, Linden, whose body was discovered on Saturday, July 4, 2026, about 08:30hrs at Chiney Road West, Moblissa, Soesdyke/Linden Highway.

Preliminary investigations revealed that a resident was walking along Chiney Road West, Moblissa, when he observed the body of a man lying motionless in the area. The matter was reported to the Police.

Police ranks visited the scene, where the body was examined and injuries were observed.

The body was removed and escorted to the Linden Hospital Complex, where it was pronounced dead on arrival by a doctor.

The body was thereafter escorted to G-Jetsco Funeral Home, where it is awaiting a post-mortem examination.

Several persons have been contacted and questioned as investigations continue to determine the circumstances surrounding the man’s death.

Investigations are ongoing.
