Police ranks acting on information received from a concerned citizen conducted a search on a suspiciously parked motor car on Goring Street, Kitty about 12:30hrs today.
During the search of the vehicle, ranks uncovered a one gallon paint can containing two hundred and thirty four (234) live rounds of .40 and one live round of .45 calibre ammunition.
No arrest has been made. Police are investigating the matter.
