19 – Year – old confronts gunmen, shot in arm

[www.inewsguyana.com] – 19 – year – old Amarnauth Ramdeen is now nursing a gunshot injury to his right elbow, after he was shot by gunmen in his Craig Village, East Bank Demerara home on Friday, April 18.

According to the Police, at about 01:45h, the young man was aroused by noise in his home and upon checking, he was confronted by three men, two of whom were armed with firearms.

One of the men discharged a round that struck Ramdeen to his right elbow, as they escaped through an incomplete window.

Ramdeen has been admitted to hospital as the investigations continue.
