Guyana has recorded 109 new cases of the novel coronavirus, which takes the total cases recorded to date to 10,007.
There are currently 11 persons in the ICU, 57 in institutional isolation, 913 in home isolation, and 17 in institutional quarantine.
Meanwhile, the number of recoveries stands at 8801 while the death toll is 225.
