Woman killed during robbery at Mocha

A woman was this afternoon killed during a robbery at a clothes stand in Mocha, East Bank Demerara.

She has been identified as Desiree Hyman-Jacobs, who resided in the same community.

The woman was shot by the assailants.

“My mother quiet, my mother don’t pick problem with nobody, my mother does come out here and do what she gotto do and go home back,” the victim’s daughter related to reporters.

Desiree HymanResidents say this is the second armed robbery to have occurred in the street within two weeks.
