Wife finds husband dead; son suspected to be killer

[www.inewsguyana.com] – Esther Reid returned home from Church on Saturday, October 24, 2015 only to find her 82 – year – old husband lying on the bedroom floor in a pool of blood.

Andrew Reid of Lot 543, Canvas City, Wismar, Linden was dead and there was visible in injuries to his head. Mrs Reid made the gruesome discovery at around noon.

iNews was reliably informed that jewellery worth over $100,000 were missing, along with a gold ring, which the elderly man was wearing.

Police are now searching for Reid’s son, who is believed to be the main suspect at this time. iNews understands that last year the suspect was released from jail in Suriname for a number of armed robberies.
