West Demerara communities forewarned to store water

The Guyana Water Incorporated (GWI) is advising customers of Onderneeming, West Minister, Parafaite Harmonie, Schoonord, Canal Number 1, Bagotsville and Nimes of a service disruption from August 26 to August 30.

According to GWI, this is to facilitate urgent maintenance at the Well Station at La Grange on the West Coast of Demerara.

Affected customers are urged to make all necessary preparations including storing water in light of this advisory. GWI regrets any inconvenience this disruption may cause.
