Police have arrested three male suspects who they say have confessed to the murder of a 51-year-old labourer/vendor, Dhanpaul Dookie, of Uitspa Village, Linden Highway /Demerara River.
The body of Dookie, also known as Pauline, was found with multiple stab wounds at his residence earlier this week.
Since the murder, detectives assigned to the case, following their investigation, detained the trio who they say “admitted to robbing and killing the victim.”
Moreover, the officers outlined that the suspects have all been previously charged;”one with murder and his case was discharged; another has an attempted murder charge pending in the High Court and the other was charged with several lesser criminal offences.”
