[www.inewsguyana.com] – Athletes in Regions 4, 5, 6 and 10 will be in action tomorrow, Sunday (March 9) as the National Paralympic Committee of Guyana stages its day of sport.
The event which begins at 09:30 hours will take place at the Guyana Defence Force Ground Camp Ayangana.
Persons will be competing in athletics in various categories, based on age and disability.
Persons expected to grace the opening ceremony are Vice President, Guyana Olympic Association Dr Karen Pilgrim and Courts Marketing Manager.
The event has seen the sponsorship of Courts Guyana and the Caribbean Sport and Development Agency, CSDA.
Admission to the public is free of charge and patrons are reminded that access to the venue is through the Vlissingen Road entrance.
