A prisoner is now in a critical condition after he was stabbed to the chest by another inmate during a brawl at the Lusignan Prison today.
The incident occurred at around 13:00hrs at Holding Bay Three.
When contacted, Director of Prisons Gladwin Samuels confirmed that the incident occurred, but did not divulge any other information. He said a press release will be sent out later.
