Assistant Commissioner Balram Persaud pose with the best male and female campers. [iNews’ Photo][www.inewsguyana.com] – Good food, fun, treats, treasure hunting, outdoor and indoor activities and a huge camp fire were some of the hallmarks marking the Guyana Police Force 2014 Children Camp which concluded on Friday, August 15 at the Kuru Kuru training collage.
The children did a small formal closing ceremony for the senior officers of the Force including Assistant Commissioner Balram Persaud, who is performing the duties of Commissioner of Police.

[iNews’ Photo]Coordinator of the Camp, Senior Superintendent Maxine Graham who was credited for doing a splendid job in ensuring that the camp was successful, expressed appreciation to camp mother, Desiree Fowler, other female police officers members of the security team and other support staff, who also played a very important role in the event.
