Having played with the Guyana Amazon Warriors (GAW) in the first edition of the ExxonMobil Global Super League, Hassan Khan is now set to play for the team in this year’s Republic Bank Caribbean Premier League (CPL).

He is one of the overseas players that was whipped up the GAW during the auction on Wednesday.

Hassan Khan, born in 1998, represented Pakistan in the 2016 U19 World Cup. However, his moment under the sun came when debuted for Questa Gladiators in the PSL. He vindicated the management’s decision and picked up 2 wickets for 10 runs in a low scoring thriller to win the Man of the Match award.

The flight, the guile and the quick arm ball are something he heavily relies in.

The Slow Left Arm Orthodox bowler also debuted in the list-A format representing Sindh in April 2016 in Pakistan cup. He featured in four games but didn’t really put up any noteworthy performances.

But his Sindh skipper Sarfraz Ahmed did notice his potential and got him in for Quetta Gladiators, which he leads as well. An enthusiastic and chirpy teenager, Hasan has the skill set to do well for a long time to come.

He played for several teams including Pakistan U19, Quetta Gladiators, Edmonton Royals, Punjabi Legends, Lahore Qalandars, Bangla Tigers, San Francisco Unicorns, Guyana Amazon Warriors, Melbourne Renegades, Abu Dhabi Knight Riders.
