The Special Projects Unit (SPU), under the Ministry of Public Infrastructure, is notifying the general public that Brickdam, Stabroek, between Avenue of the Republic and Camp Street, will be closed to facilitate maintenance road works.
According to a media statement issued today (Wednesday), this closure will occur on Thursday April 14, 2016 from 16:00hrs to 22:00hrs.
Motorists and pedestrians are asked to use alternative bypasses for this period and to pay attention to all caution and directional signs in the area.
The Ministry of Public Infrastructure says its regrets any inconvenience caused.
