M&CC shuts down illegally operated daycare on Robb Street

The Georgetown Mayor and City Council today shut down a daycare, owned by a Cuban national, that was illegally operating on Robb Street.

Medical Officer of Health, Dr. Suzette Reynolds-Marcus, along with the Chief Environmental Health Officer Ms. Abiola Baker, conducted an inspection of the illegal daycare facility today.

During the visit, the public health team identified several breaches of health, safety, and operational standards required for childcare services.

As such, a decision was taken to shut down the facility.
