[www.inewsguyana.com] – A man is dead and several persons sustained injuries when a motor lorry tuned turtle while ascending a hill at 51 Miles, Buck Hall, Essequibo yesterday.
According to a police report, at about 16:30 hours on Wednesday (September 10), 52 – year – old Zakeer Mohamed of Leguan, Essequibo Coast was in the tray of a motor lorry along with other passengers when the incident occurred.
Mohamed along with the others fell out of the motor lorry and received injuries. He was taken to the Suddie Hospital where he was pronounced dead on arrival.
The driver is in police custody assisting with the investigations.
