Man crushed to death trying to fix bulldozer

Police “F” Division Commander, Rabindranauth Budhram has confirmed that a man in his apparent 20’s was on Tuesday afternoon crushed by a bulldozer in Seven Miles, Mahdia while on duty.

While the man’s identity remains unknown, Commander Budhram revealed that he was in the process of fixing the bulldozer as it would not start.

Based on the graphic images seen and information related to this publication, the man was operating between the engine bay and continuous track of the tank wheels, when the machine started and reportedly reversed, resulting in him being crushed.

An investigation has been launched.
