Hours after it was announced that five of the 13 inmates, who escaped the Lusignan penitentiary were recaptured, another two (2) Jason Howard and Jamal Joseph have been added to the list.
While information remains sketchy, Howard was caught in Georgetown, reportedly in North East La Penitence, while Joseph was recaptured in South Ruimveldt.
In all, so far, the recaptured men have been identified as Winston Long, Teshawn McKenzie, Rayon Jones, Jamal Forde, Odel Roberts, Jason Howard and Jamal Joseph.
Long and McKenzie were apprehended by police on the Berbice car park just after 20:00hrs while the other three (Jones, Forde and Roberts) were taken into police custody on the Agriculture road in Mon Repos, East Coast Demerara.
