[www.inewsguyana.com] – Police investigators were yesterday (Friday, January 02), called to a scene where a Linden, Region 10 man was stabbed several times about his body, causing his death.
In a subsequent release, police said that at about 14:45 hours, 41 – year – old Seibert Moore of Victory Valley, Wismar was involved in an altercation with another man at Frenchman, Upper Demerara, during which he was stabbed about his body.
He was taken from his worksite at the Empire Mining Company and rushed to the Mackenzie Hospital where he was pronounced dead on arrival.
The suspect, who has been identified as Moore’s workmate, has been arrested and is in police custody assisting with the investigations.
