[www.inewsguyana.com] – Fifty four – year – old Godfrey Marks, of Lower Kara Kara Squatting Area, Linden was in the wee hours of this morning (Monday, January 12), shot to his left shoulder by one of four men who entered his home and demanded valuables.
According to a police release, Marks was confronted by the men as he went to check on the barking of dogs in the neighborhood. The man’s wife and nine –year – old son were assaulted by the perpetrators who escaped empty-handed.
Marks is currently being treated at the Mackenzie Hospital, in Linden.
