Orwin Rankin, a boat captain from Leguan Island, appeared today at the Wakenaam Magistrates’ Court where he was charged with unlawful wounding and was granted bail in the sum of $40,000.
Rankin pleaded not guilty to the charge.
The matter was transferred to the Leguan Magistrates’ Court for May 29.
Rankin was arrested on Tuesday in connection with the abuse of a mother of three.
