[www.inewsguyana.com] -USA based Guyanese distance runner Euleen Josiah-Tanner started her 2015 season with a cool win at the Red Nose half marathon on Saturday morning in Columbus, Georgia.

Josiah-Tanner recorded a time of one hour, 27mins 54s to win the event ahead of Patricia Coppel (1:29:37s) and
Kristie Poole (1:29:49s).
“It’s my first event of the year and I’m pretty happy with the results, it was a bit cold along with some rain but it was a good race.
“I’m doing a lot of long runs and I haven’t started speed training as yet, so it was a decent outing,” Josiah-Tanner stated.
Josiah-Tanner race will race again on January 25 in the Silver Comet 10k road race especially since she felt “great’ after her season opener.
