Harbour Bridge suicide victim identified

[wwwinewsguyana.com] – Police sources have confirmed that the woman who jumped to her death on Christmas Eve day from the Demerara Harbour Bridge was mentally ill.

iNews was told that the woman, Felecia Husain, 34, resided at lot 438 Golden Grove, East Bank Demerara. She was a patient of Dr. Harry’s Clinic for some time now.

The woman jumped to her death leaving behind her slippers and umbrella. No one knows what prompted the woman to commit suicide.

Shortly after she jumped off the bridge, workers of the Demerara Harbour Bridge used their boat go in search of her and were able to recover her body a short distance from where she plunged.
