Gold miner granted bail for malicious wounding

[www.inewsguyana.com] – A gold miner accused of wounding another man and causing him serious bodily harm, was on Tuesday placed on $150,000 bail after he made his first court appearance before Chief Magistrate Ann McLennan.

It is alleged that the accused, 21 year-old Neville Dundas  on September 20,  at Saman Street, Guyhoc Park, Georgetown with intent to main, disfigure, disable or to cause grievous bodily harm, he unlawfully and maliciously wounded John Berrisford.

The Prosecution, did not object to substantial bail and did not say much on the matter.

Dundas, a resident of Guyhoc Park, was then granted $150,000 bail. He will make his next court appearance on November 2.
