With Guyana, the Windward and Leeward Islands in support of Cameron and Garner gaining the support of Trinidad, Jamaica and Barbados an interesting period of West Indies cricket awaits the region.

Each territorial board will have two votes each as Cameron won the last election 7-5 to be named as the new President in 2013.

In addition, with Wavell Hinds returning unopposed as the President of the West Indies Player’s Association (WIPA), the presidency of the WICB will play an important role in mending the relationship between the players and the WICB.

Emmanuel Nanthan will be running alongside Cameron while Baldath Mahabir will be Garner’s running mate.
